Expressway from Mysuru to Bengaluru:work seems to be delaying(july 19)

Bengaluru:Expressway which connects between two major cities Mysuru-Bengaluru,which will reduce the travel time to 90 minutes.

Which was initiated by the Union Ministry of Surface Transport announced in 2014 that State highway with a distance of 117 km would be transformed to National-highway,took a wide gap to come to action and finally started in 2019 instead of 2018 as there were many issues.

National Highway Authority of India at an estimated Rs 7,400 crore has taken up the project,the work has stopped during the recent lockdown and it was rescheduled after a few weeks ago,where they have faced a labour shortage as many labours went to their hometown “There were 8000 workers who were working,but now there are hardly 4,000” PWD sorces said.As they require skilled labour’s to operate cranes,and other high tech vehicles,Sridar a project development officer,NHAI,said that work is in progress,but it is slow.
